Ken Hyland,英國東英吉利大學應用語言學教授,國際著名應用語言學家,學術語篇和二語寫作領域領軍學者。香港大學和英國華威大學榮譽教授,曾任倫敦大學學院和香港大學應用語言學首席教授。創(chuàng)辦SSCI國際權威期刊Journal of English for Academic Purposes,曾任Applied Linguistics和Journal of English for Academic Purposes主編。共發(fā)表學術論文240余篇,出版學術著作30本,谷歌學術引用率逾5萬次。新的著作包括Second Language Writing、Academic Discourse and Global Publishing: Disciplinary Persuasion in Changing Times、Specialised English: New Directions in ESP and EAP Research and Practice。2018年Bloomsbury出版了其個人論文集The Essential Hyland。
